Talk:Zebra Girl

Surely I'm not the only one who sees massive similarity between this comic and the world of darkness?

You're missing out. Anyway, both settings are a modern world with monsters and the unnatural hidden from the masses, and the old guy is a like a hunter. It's not like one copied the other, but it's a very similar setup. Zebra girl could be taking place in the WoD. Kinda. Sorta. They remind me of each other.
- Nah, It's a sluggy clone. Well, it started that way at least. Tome of evil in the attic? At least it isn't called Camel Girl. And come on, world of darkness? The larping thing? There aren't even any vampires in ZG.64.238.49.65 19:47, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- More like it's Sluggy Freelance done right, but I digress. Although it and WoD share some thematic similarities, they have really got nothing to do with each other.
- Vampires, demons and things that thrive outside of the oblivious masses who live in "ordinary life" have been a recurring theme through most of humanity's existence. Granted that the WOD strikes similar notes, but keep in mind that so far White Wolf has created stand-alone game books for vampires, werewolves, magicians, ghosts, mummies and changelings. It's pretty much inevitable that at some point, you'll end up doing something similar to them if you as much hint at the supernatural in your works. I think we can chalk that one up to coincidence (and not risk a paradox backlash) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Drakkenmensch (talk • contribs) 12:08, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
