Zeacolpus maorius is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turritellidae.

[edit] Distribution
This species is endemic to the north east coast of the North Island of New Zealand, north to the Three Kings Islands.

This snail lives at depths of between about 18 and 90 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is small and slender, with almost flat whorls. The later whorls with the primary and secondary spirals alternating in strength, and finally resolving into an evenly graded series od 12 low spirals, with linear interspaces.
The shell coloration is white, with regularly spaced flexuous broad streaks of reddish-brown.
The shell height is up to 16 mm, and the width is up to 4 mm.
