Zeacolpus ascensus is a species of very small deepwater sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turritellidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Chatham Rise.

This snail lives at depths of between 240 and 530 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is small, rather similar to Zeacolpus pagoda powelli, but with a more even development of the main cords, resulting in more rounded than carinated whorls.
The shell height is up to 11 mm, and the width is up to 4 mm.
