The Zastava M80 and M80A are automatic rifles made by the Serbian arms manufacturer Zastava Arms.

The rifles are both clones of the famous Russian AK-47 Kalashnikov. The M80 and M80A use the same magazine and have the same main component parts. They are gas-operated weapons, provided with semi-automatic and full-automatic fire. The M80 and M80A are rifles of higher fire power and lighter weight than the AK-47.

M80 is known as only mass-produced Kalashnikov derivative chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge. Using more powerful cartridge increases their firepower but excessive recoil reduces manageability in full-auto mode.
