[edit] Dancing On Ice
She took part in ITV1's Dancing On Ice 2008, as a replacement for the injured Michael Underwood. Her partner was skater Fred Palascak, who was originally eliminated in week one of the competition with his partner Sarah Greene.
For the majority of her time in the competition she has ranked third or fourth on the scoreboard. Zaraah earned this with beautiful skating techniques.
In her first week, week three, Zaraah scored an impressive 18.5, coming fourth on the leadboard beating six original celebrities including Samantha Mumba and Linda Lusardi. The fourth week was a special West End week, so the celebrities were skating to classic West End Musicals. Zaraah skated to Don't Cry For Me Argentina and scored 19.0, once again coming fourth. In the fifth week Zaraah skated to Diamonds and Pearls and scored 22.5, beating Gareth Gates and coming third. The sixth week was another special, skating to classic 60's songs. Zaraah skated to The Locomotion and scored a slightly lower 22.0. Despite coming fourth out of eight celebrities, Zaraah was in the skate-off but survived with all Judges saving her. Her seventh week was her weakest yet when she skated to Girls Aloud hit Jump. Her required element was a struggle for Zaraah, performing a solo jump, in which the Judges criticised her for performing it weak. Zaraah only scored 18.5, placing her 5th out of six on the leadboard. One again she found herself in the Skate-Off with Linda Lusardi, who had scored 19.0, which was higher than Zaraah. Despite this all the Judges once again chose to save Zaraah. The eight week saw a rise in Zaraah's score when she received 24.5, skating to That Don't Impress Me Much, using prop(s). Zaraah was given a Hula Hoop and two canes, in which the Judges praised her for placing them cleverly into the routine. Despite the positive remarks, Zaraah was in the skate-off once again and was saved by four out of five judges. Zaraah had reached the semi-final with Chris Fountain, Suzanne Shaw and Gareth Gates. Despite being favourite to be eliminated, Zaraah came third on the leaderboard, beating Gareth Gates, scoring 27.0, her highest mark. She was in the skate-off with Gareth, being saved by all the Judges. Zaraah had earned her place in the Final with Chris Fountain and Suzanne Shaw.
Zaraah scored 26.0 in her flying and skating routine, being praised for her elegance. In the flying round she was second on the leadboard, beating Chris Fountain. In the favourite routine round Zaraah scored 26.5, performing her Diamonds and Pearls routine. Unfortunately, Zaraah came third in this round and with a joint score of 52.5, she came third on the leadboard, behind Chris Fountain who scored 54.5 and Suzanne Shaw who scored a full score of 60.0, the first in a Dancing On Ice history. Phillip announced that Zaraah had come third, meaning she had lost out on Bolero. Zaraah thanked everyone and praised the show, saying it was the best thing she'd ever done.
Zaraah survived four skate-off's, breaking the record alongside Steve Backley, of whom she beat in her Week Six skate-off. Zaraah was known as the Skate-Off Queen.
Zaraah is currently travelling round the UK with Torvill and Dean on the Dancing On Ice Live Tour!
