[edit] Mazar-e-sharif.jpg and Medgyessy.jpg
Thanks for uploading Mazar-e-sharif.jpg and Medgyessy.jpg. I notice them currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you created it and wish to release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, Laura Scudder | Talk 21:48, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I'm sorry I never even think about those kind of things. I just look for images to make the articles look better. I got the Medgyessy one from here (picture) so I have no idea what the copyright status is. The Mazar-e-Sharif is from PBS (here) so it should be fair use or something like that. Hope that helps. [edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:New-tbird-seal.gif
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:New-tbird-seal.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:54, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
