[edit] Long live Sweden
Maybe if you signed your post in the first place I would have... Of course it was a joke. --Eivindt@c 16:28, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, great. Perhaps the deletion of the SH-page and then seeing that remark of the old entry was a bad combo to see the same day. ;) Zarkow 11:24, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Improper Deletion of SilentHeroes
I think you may have me confused. It was Chairboy, not me, who deleted that page. Chairman S. Talk 21:38, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- You are correct. I followed a link to your profile from the wrong page. Zarkow 23:01, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mod deletion
I am only going after mods because, as you can see, the voters on the Articles for Deletion page agree that they are better featured on their own sites or game sites than in Wikipedia due to their lack of notablility, and are only useful to a small group of people (in Finnwars' case, dedicated Finnish gamers who play Battlefield games and know of the mod's existence from the community) which goes against the purpose of Wikipedia. It is not a racial issue as it doesnt matter whether mods have Americans or not. If a mod is definitely shown as notable (Point of Existence, Desert Combat, etc) then it should be kept.--Zxcvbnm 16:54, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Please define notable, since last time I checked we had more downloads then Point of Existence. Zarkow 16:57, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- I retracted the nom for Finnwars because its Google hits drastically increased since the last nom and I have researched it more, it seems to be notable enough.--Zxcvbnm 16:58, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok? I mean, we have more players, downloads, pageviews and googlehits then them too. But SH is still recomended for deletion? I'm just trying to understand what you mean. Zarkow 17:03, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Google hits don't mean anything. There are lots of pages that have "silent" or "heroes" on them. It's up to the AFD guys to decide if it's right to delete your page. I just want to weed out the cruft from the notable mods.--Zxcvbnm 18:35, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- First of all, the term is 'silentheroes' without a space. so no, google will not return any pages with the other words in them. Secondly of all, you revert your state about FinnWars since it's google-count increased and then claim google-count doesn't matter? Help me follow the logic. Which mod is more notable, SH or FW?
