ZAPX

ZAPX (pronounced ZA-Pics) is a family movie block on the Canadian television channel YTV. It is hosted by Simon Mohos on Sundays at 6 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time. ZAPX airs movies suitable for the entire family. It started in Fall 2005.

Simon is a young, self-proclaimed movie buff. Little is known about Simon other than his name and this has been the subject of jokes used by YTV in advertising ZAPX. In these ads Simon meets other YTV host Carlos, and former YTV hosts the late Sugar and Paula, who act as if they do not care much for him. However, in other promotional events, Simon and Carlos have been touted as friends.
