Zaliv Shipbuilding yard

There are actually three shipyards located in Mykolaiv: Black Sea Shipyard, Okean Shipyard, and 61 Communards.
The Zaliv Shipbuilding yard (Soviet Shipyard No. 532) (Russian: «Судостроительный завод «Залив»; Ukrainian: «суднобудівельний завод «Залив») is located near Kerch, Ukraine and specializes in the construction of tankers and container carriers, and the repair of ships of different types and tonnage.[1]
The shipyard was also known as Kamysh-Burun Zavod.[2]

The joint stock company Zaliv Shipyard was founded in 1938. It is situated on the shore of the Kerch Strait, between two seas, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
