Zako-dan (ザコ団 Zako-dan?) is a trio of characters in the Guilty Gear fighting game series, making their only appearance in the console release of Guilty Gear Isuka. They take the names from the Japanese gaming jargon, "zako" or "small fry", which refers for a common enemy character who is not a boss nor a sub-boss. While generally only possessing a very limited number of basic and weak attacks, the Zako-dan do possess the ability to use false roman cancels. Zako A only has three attacks and can jump but not run. Zako B also has three moves but is unable to either run or jump. Zako C is able to perform six different attacks and is able to both run and jump. Due to their limited set of moves and weak attacks these characters are generally unpopular with all but the best of players.

[edit] Story

Zako-dan is a mysterious organization that attacks the main characters in Boost Mode. They sometimes use dead Gear corpses as cover.
