Zakliczyn [zaˈklit͡ʂɨn] is a town in Poland, with 1,558 inhabitants (2006), on the right bank of the Dunajec River.
It had town rights from 1557 to 1934, and regained them on January 1, 2006.
In 2008 was selected with 19 Villages of Europe -Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain- for the spanish documentary Film "Villages of Europe" Pueblos de Europa, produced by Juan Frutos (Colours Communication Group) and Orange Productions S.L.
