Zaid ibn Khalifa

Zaid ibn Khalifa Al Nahayan (1855-1909) of the Al Abu Falah dynasty was the Shaikh of Abu Dhabi from 1862-1877. In 1892, Khalifi signed a treaty with the United Kingdom which effectively ceded control of Abu Dhabi's international commercial relations to the British.
