Zahra Ahmadi (born 1985) is a British actress best known for her role as Shabnam Masood in the British television series EastEnders.
Her hometown is Plymouth where her family lives. She attended Devonport High School for Girls. She graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2005. She has appeared on both stage and screen. Her stage work includes the role of Nasreen in Alistair Beaton's King of Hearts which premiered at the Hampstead Theatre in 2007. It was announced on 20 May 2007 that she would be joining the cast of the popular soap opera EastEnders as Shabnam Masood. She made her first appearance on 17th July 2007.
Zahra co-ran the Pizazz performing arts academy with Amanda Lockhart. Zahra also starred in the 2007 2 -part drama on C4, Britz.
