Zach Lipovsky

Zach Lipovsky is a visual effects specialist from Vancouver, British Columbia. He has also worked as a director, actor, writer, and editor in the film industry. Lipovsky was a finalist on the FOX reality show On the Lot .
Lipovsky gained attention with his entry for On The Lot. His introduction video featured himself shooting down a UFO with a bazooka, all done with CGI. His film was an edited version of an earlier project, Crazy Late.[1]
For On the Lot, Lipovsky did the special effects for the short film Time Out[2], which was produced along with Sam Friedlander and Adam Stein. Lipovsky also produced the comedy short film, Danger Zone,[3] which placed in the top 3 on the May 29, 2007 results show, based on votes by the American public. Lipovsky was declared the show's wunderkind by judge Carrie Fisher. His film Sunshine Girl was shown on the June 19, 2007 episode and all three judges chose it as their favorite film that week.[4]. His short film Die Hardly Working was shown on the June 26, 2007 episode and two of the three judges said it was their favorite.[5] On July 9, 2007, his short film Time Upon A Once was shown and guest judge Luke Greenfield chose it as his favorite.[6]
However, Lipovsky was eliminated from the competition on August 7.
