Zach Blair is currently the guitarist for Chicago-based hardcore punk band Rise Against, replacing Chris Chasse. Zach is originally from Sherman, Texas.
Before joining Rise Against in early 2007, Blair was a member of hardcore punk group Only Crime along with his brother, Doni Blair. Zach was a member of Hagfish and was Flattus Maximus of GWAR before joining Only Crime.1 He has also been a 2nd touring guitarist for The Loved Ones.
He is also a vegetarian, an animal rights advocate and actively promotes PETA with the other members of Rise Against,[1] who are currently working on a fifth studio album that is due for release in late 2008/early 2009 and will also be their first release with Blair.
