Zac Herold (born December 19, 1983 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa) is an American football tight end for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. He was initially signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2007 and played college football for the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Herold earned letters in football and basketball as a student at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In football, he earned first team All-Conference honors, a first team All-Metro selection, and a second team All-State selection. In basketball, he earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention before graduating in 2002.
