Talk:Z-value

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was directed to this page after searching for 'Z-Value'. However, the Z-Value I was intent on finding was the one relating to probablility and statistics. There was no 'see also' or 'Did you mean...?' link at the top. The concept of Z-Values are fundamental to statistics and I was surprised to find no reference to them.

[edit] Microscopes?

I've been told that another meaning of Z-value has something to do with a microscopes field of view and the actual area shown, et cetera et cetera. Could someone please explain this concept to me, and perhaps make a disambiguation page or something to help other people with the same questions?
