Talk:Z-Ro
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The entire "Retirement and Non-Appreciation" section should either be removed or rewritten; its about as biased (and poorly spelled) as you can get.
Whoa, whoa, whoa...how is it biased? It is documented from an article in which Z-Ro was interviewed.
Z-ro Did rs of the Screwed up Click in which he diss 50 Cent extensive called "ready for war"

[edit] Kofi Annan
The source you used for that quote itself gives no source. Therefore, it should not be included in Wikipedia. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 01:22, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] To Cnota, regarding edits to this article
I'm using WP:RS , specifically the following part:
Exceptional claims require exceptional evidence Certain red flags should prompt editors to examine the sources for a given claim.
- Surprising or apparently important claims that are not widely known.
- Surprising or apparently important reports of recent events not covered by reputable news media.
- Reports of a statement by someone that seems out of character, embarrassing, controversial, or against an interest they had previously defended.
- Claims not supported or claims that are contradicted by the prevailing view in the relevant academic community. Be particularly careful when proponents say there is a conspiracy to silence them.
Exceptional claims should be supported by multiple credible and verifiable sources, especially with regard to historical events or politically-charged issues.
The website link you reference has no sources for the claim that Kofi Annan said this about Z-Ro. Furthermore, the person who wrote the article, Eb Haynes, is ... who? Finally, I can find NO other sites or sources or newspapers or interviews that back up this assertion. I did find a LOT of websites mocking this claim, however. I have removed the information, again, until you can find a clear source independant of a single, unverified comment on a website. Otherwise, I could write a review pointing out your boy recycles shit from PM Dawn (and how street is that? not!) and that he's appearantly your boy is back in jail. Again.
Ahem. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 14:20, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Screwed Head
I left him a warning for vandalism, which I consider changes to the artist's document place of birth to be. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 03:55, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
Anyone sold at Wal-Mart is probably notable, to prempt any of my fellow deletionists tagging this with db-delete tags.
--ElaragirlTalk|Count 03:57, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Z-Ro is a famous, talented rapper and should definetly not be deleted. Any rap listener who knows anything will tell you the same. Slawdogg 04:26, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Slawdogg
[edit] Clarification for sourcing
Is Z-Ro considered Down South or Dirty South? I've found a couple of sources for the article but they keep conflicting each other. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 16:40, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
well, being from houston, i wouldn't consider any houston-based rapper as dirty south, but i wouldn't really consider z ro as down south, either. i would just consider him a original member of the SUC.
Hmm. Shit. Thank you anyway. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 00:54, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
"i wouldn't consider any houston-based rapper as dirty south" that makes no sense, Houston is a major part of the entire Southern rap group
[edit] Layout and tone
I edited and swapped some things around in the article, mostly for clarity but also so that some very simple complaints that ends up in getting musicians deleted can be met. The article still needs more sources, but that can wait as long as it's under work. If anyone disagrees with my edits (who has been editing the article already) go ahead and revert and we'll work it out here later. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 04:42, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
say if you get this for real, you got me being one-deep.ect....

[edit] TRY USING SOURCES
ESPECIALLY IN THE RECENT EVENTS SECTION DETAILING HIS INCIDENT WITH SHANE MOSLEY AND HIS REINCARCERATION (AND POTENTIAL RELEASE DATE)...
[edit] SHANE MOSLEY
I removed this section. This first appeared as an unsubstaniated rumor on allhiphop.com in early '06, and there has been no factual evidence to support this story since.
