The Z-Putty Patrollers first became part of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series in Season Two, when they were sent by their creator, Lord Zedd.
They first appeared in Episode 2.01, "The Mutiny," when Lord Zedd came to take over from Rita Repulsa as she hadn't been discharging her duties. When Lord Zedd took over from Rita, he was keen to start his evil plot. Goldar offered to send down Rita's puttys, but Lord Zedd refused, as they were useless. So he sent down his own putty patrol.
The Z-Putty Patrollers' biggest weakness is the Z-symbol on their chests which, when struck, cause them to lose power and break apart.
