Yvonne Losos de Muñiz is an international dressage rider that represents the Dominican Republic. She recently won the individual bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, riding her approved Hannoverian stallion Bernstein. With that medal she repeats her performance from the 2003 Pan Am Games held in her home country, where she also obtained the bronze medal riding a different mount, a Dutch mare named Inatana. Prior to her Pan Am medals, she also won double individual gold medals at the 2002 Central American Games in El Salvador. In addition to her championship medals, Yvonne has also obtained numerous wins at prestigious international events held in West Palm Beach, FL, the Sunshine Tour (Spain), France and Germany. She currently trains in Germany with riding master Jean Bemelmans, who also coaches the Spanish Olympic team and other top-level riders from Europe.
