Yvette Carte-Blanche is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!, which ran from 1982 to 1992. She was played by the actress Vicki Michelle.
Yvette works as a waitress during World War II at the Café René, but at night she makes money as a woman of the street. Although she sells her body for paraffin, gasoline, sugar and butter, her only true love is René Artois. She is famous for her saying "Oh René" in a long growling tone. They are often caught by René's wife, Madame Edith, but the unfaithful husband always has a proper explanation for his behaviour, always beginning with "You stupid woman!".
Yvettes best friend is Maria Recamier, another café waitress, but she goes missing after series 3. She posts herself to Switzerland by mistake. After that, the Resistance member Mimi Labonq is hired as staff, and they together become good friends too.
In the last episode, many years after the war, her biggest dream is fulfilled. René elopes with her, and marries her.
