Yves Allégret

Yves Allégret (October 13, 1907 - January 31, 1987) was a French film director in the film noir genre. His films include Une Si Jolie Petite Plage (1948), Manèges (1949), and The Proud and the Beautiful (1953).

He is noted as having been the husband of actress Simone Signoret between the years 1944–1949.
