Yusuke Hagihara

Yusuke Hagihara (萩原雄祐 Hagihara Yūsuke, 18971979) was a Japanese astronomer.

Hagihara contributed to celestial mechanics and perturbation theory and wrote two books on these subjects. He won the James Craig Watson Medal in 1960.

An asteroid, 1971 Hagihara, that he discovered bears his name.
