Yuri Lemeshev is a Russian accordion player, most notable for being in the studio band on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He emigrated to the United States in 1989 hoping to find more freedom for his musical projects. He has also shared the stage and/or recorded with Nicole Renaud, Tony Scherr, Brad Shepik, Greg Wall, Mary Wooten and Matt Darriau. He is also the resident accordionist for the New York-based Gypsy-Punk-Cabaret band Gogol Bordello and recently started a duo with theremin player Pamelia Kurstin.
