I started this article with the basic research but obviously it needs an expert to expand on it. There should be specific information about his work. However, I was happy to start this article. I enjoy learning about brilliant people. --Ashley Rovira 16:39, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

I am unsure about the "Dr." honorific used in this article. Zalgaller and Aleksandrov were both professors when Burago got his doctoral title, and Burago is presently a professor as well. --BACbKA 21:35, 4 January 2007 (UTC) no longer pertinent following Mhym's very productive revision. --BACbKA 12:17, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
