[edit] Udo Kier

I can't believe Udo Kier doesn't have an article.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.189.218.20 (talk • contribs)

Um, yeah he does... Udo Kier. --Chodorkovskiy 05:41, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

He doesn't fit Connections between the Red Alert series and the Command & Conquer series--Mko 22:07, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Yuri's Origin?

Umm.. has eny one ever concidered that he may be a ROMANIAN JEW? I dont see how he could only be one or the other. Please explain???

A Romanian Jew is a Jew born and raised in Romania. But where did you get the idea that Yuri is a Jew?--Chodorkovskiy (talk) 14:02, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Nevermind, I got it.--Chodorkovskiy (talk) 14:03, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Yuri quotes

Belong in WikiQuote and not here. Please stop adding them to the article. --Chodorkovskiy (talk) 14:02, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RA1

Yuri is refered to in one of the red alert 1 expansion pack missions. More research required before it should be added to the article.

[edit] Original NOT a Doctored Photo

The original Lenin-Stalin photo that Yuri's face is super-imposed on was not a doctored image.

The cold war rumor was dismissed when the original negatives of the picture with Lenin and Stalin were found when the Soviet secret archives were opened. In the name of historical accuracy, I hope somebody can address this by editing the relevant sections without accusations of vandalism.

[edit] Yuri's tatoo

I believe the letters on yuris head are Y and P which my stand for Yuri Prime. The unit is available in multiplayer when you captured the opposite MCV and spied on an allied and a soviet structure.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Yuri-and-Stalin.jpg

Image:Yuri-and-Stalin.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Yuri's markings

I Read that the markings on yuri's forehead were "Resh" "Waw" and "Yodh" although it may suggest he is jewish, the meanings of the three words could also symbolize "teacher of/and God" seeing as Resh can be an abbreviation for Rabbi, Waw can be a conjunction meaning either "and" or "of" and Yodh can be short for God in the language. Teacher OF god, would suggest that Yuri believes he brings salvation with his mind control, although "Teacher and god" is a more logical statement, proclaiming himself god and teacher of all other humans. any one have thoughts about this?

[edit] Moon reference?

The game then took place on the moon with Yuri, was probably refering to Yuri Gagarin 76.68.230.145 (talk) 22:25, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Yuri's Revenge Cover

I thought that I could put it there. It's the same one from Yuri's Revenge. If it's illegal or anything, you can remove it but please, notify me on my talk page. ;)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cncyr-cover.jpg

The image Image:Cncyr-cover.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.
