Yunior Novoa, born September 11, 1984, in Las Matas de Farfan, Dominican Republic, is a North American professional baseball player. He is a left-handed pitching prospect in the Washington Nationals organization. Novoa was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago White Sox in 2002.
During the 2006 season, Novoa pitched in the Dominican Summer League, the Gulf Coast League and the New York-Penn League. He appeared in 16 games, of which he started 13, accruing a record of 3 wins and 3 losses with an ERA of 1.54. Novoa began the 2007 season with the Hagerstown Suns of the single-A South Atlantic League; in his first 2007 appearance, he pitched 4 1/3 perfect innings en route to a total of 1 hit in 5 complete innings, helping the Suns to their first win of the season.
