Yun Jong-nam (born in Cheonan, South Chungcheong, 12 August 1948) is a South Korean lawyer. He studied at Gyeonggi High School and Seoul University. After graduating from Yonsei University's law faculty in 1973, he passed the 16th bar exam in 1974; from there on, he held various positions throughout the country.[citation needed] In 2005, he stepped down from his position as the head of the the Seoul Southern District Public Prosecutor's office due to a bribery scandal.[1] He still currently works as a lawyer, providing his home province of South Chungcheong with services.[citation needed]
