[edit] Michael Crick

I wouldn't worry too much about Wikicops comeing round and break your Amstrad; as long as you don't make a habit of this sort of thing, a single reverted edit isn't going to do you too much harm.

For the wider point you make: if you want a discussion on this I suggest The Village Pump, although I doubt your idea will get much sympathy I'm afraid. There have been experiments on using a Wiki for this sort of thing, such as Conservapedia.

The trouble with deciding "when the layman would agree that their body of work indicates a definite political agenda" is that that is not the way Wikipedia works: see WP:OR. For that kind of speculation to be in an article like Crick's you would need a quote from someone important (a major political figure say) from a "Reliable Source". Frankly I don't think Crick is important enough so have warranted that kind of commentary in citable sources. In addition one of the key policies of Wikipedia is Neutral Point of View pursuing a political agenda through Wikipedia is strongly discouraged.

In any case welcome to Wikipedia. Tomgreeny (talk) 00:18, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
