Sarah went hard time at young age. She's been moving communities around in South Dakota. The most place was in Eagle Butte, South Dakota and Fort Thompson, South Dakota. First, she grew up in Eagle Butte, South Dakota on the Cheyenne Reservation were her grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles live. Her cousin, Nelson Red Bird who she grew up with was sent to St. Joseph school in Chamberlain while Sarah took interest to Lower Brule Elementary before going Chamberlain Schools, then later, was transfer on Crow Creek reservation in Fort Thompson, South Dakota were her father and others live.

Sarah was substrain with her family in Fort when she went through fightings, troubles, and injuries. The troubles that got in was stealing property in school and lack of some intensity behavior. Sarah was strain a injuries as well, when tripping on grounds, falling off stairs, and possibly strain herself.
In fall of 2002, she had been bad pain flick when fighting with her sister. She was stabbed on the hand with a pencil by her sister and rush to the hospital. The reports that what made Sarah stressful that she was in pain about 14 days and 6 days to off from school.
On July 4, 2003, she had an accident when celebrating Independence 4th of July day. She was lighting a bottle rocket then went towards and slit the side of her left face, but the face didn't complete the healing when she givin an medicine, but the her face start became effection for 5 days on a band-aid.
