Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; one for the opening theme and one for the ending theme. The opening theme is Rika Komatsu's single My Sweet Heart. The ending theme is Koi wa À la Mode and is sung by the main characters' seiyū.

A short introduction is used to start each episode; during the show three versions are used: different versions are used during episodes 1 to 11, 12 to 41, and 42 to 52. The introduction is narrated by Kouichi Toochika (Ryou Shirogane) during episodes 1 to 11 and by Saki Nakajima (Ichigo Momomiya) during episodes 12 to 52.

The episodes were released on ten DVD compilations, each containing between four and six episodes of the show: the first eight compilations contain six episodes each, the ninth compilation contains four episodes, and the tenth compilation contains special features.[1] The episodes were also released on thirteen VHS compilations: each compilation contains four episodes.[1]
