What is her ethnic background? I heard that Yulduz is half Uzbek, but I'm not too sure. 74.121.61.225 00:10, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

"She also has controversial ties to the Uzbek government." - Can someone in the know flesh this out a bit? I heard some of her songs on the 'net, but won't be buying any of her records if she's supporting the repressive government. . . I can't understand the lyrics and don't wish to be secretly brainwashed in Uzbek into being a fascist.
