[edit] Centralized TV Episode Discussion
Over the past months, TV episodes have been reverted by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. --Maniwar (talk) 23:43, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'll get to it once I have time to read up on the existing discussion. I have much to say, but I don't want to say something that's already said, nor do I want to ignore existing points which have been brought up. -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 11:54, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Edit summary
Regarding this summary: Who is the "you" whom you're addressing? --Kife 10:33, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- User:Johntex. Thus far he appears to be the only person who has raised any serious concerns (that is to say, concerns not relating to minor issues like specific wording) over the inclusion of the new section as it was at the most recent version. -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 10:36, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I just had a moment of paranoia. Cheers. --Kife 10:39, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Civility
Edit summaries such as this are unacceptable in any context; please don't repeat such behavior. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 22:56, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm calling a spade a spade. If you look over Clockback's contributions to the article for the past week or so you'll likely also arrive at the conclusion that he's being a twat. -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 23:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps you are unaware that, though calling someone a "twat" might be acceptable in some contexts, it's considered extremely vulgar in most others. I fail to see how edits turn someone into a vagina. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 23:55, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's British slang, and the user is British, and it's roughly the equivalent of calling someone a dick here in the states. As far as why it turns someone into a vagina... ask the Brits. -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 23:58, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

I was going to make the same warning, I see that jpgordon beat me to it. When we call a spade a spade, we are calling a spade a spade. Not a potato a spade. Clockback is not a "twat," which is literally incorrect, or, alternatively, is at best a vulgar and uncivil term for someone being rude. He made a clumsy edit, I suspect he didn't realize that it would appear as it did, and he is being contentious and, indeed, disruptive in violation of WP:POINT, but we don't need to toss gasoline on the fire. I have warned him, as I am warning you. You could be blocked for that comment, users have been blocked for less. --Abd (talk) 00:52, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mass Effect
"A bit long". Sure, keep that page languishing in mediocrity - that page is never going anywhere. By your logic, undue weight does not exist, trivial relevance does not exist, and trivial notability does not exist. See you around. Chensiyuan (talk) 01:11, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] peer review
I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality! [edit] Race and Crime
Hey there! I was just wondering why you removed materials such as this; I dislike the studies too, but if academic institutions have studied the pattern of interracial crime then there's no reason not to include it. At least, that's my opinion; others may think differently. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 05:38, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- I see where you're going; I'll leave it to you guys to decide whether it's fair to be included on the talk page (after all, you're right, the study is a bit too small to be effectively compared to others). Also, another user has brought up a concern of an indef-blocked user on that page. If you find anything out, please let me know so that I can take further action. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 05:12, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
