Yuichi Asami (浅見祐一 Asami Yūichi?) (born September 1, 1971), known by the aliases U1 or U1-Asami is a musician working for the Konami Corporation. He is known for his contributions to the home versions of the Dance Dance Revolution series, and also remixing some of Naoki Maeda's compositions under the 2MB alias. When Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA came out, he began composing for the arcade versions.

In an interview with Music4Games (his first with a Western media outlet), Yuichi Asami divulged that he's been working on the DDR franchise for nearly 15 years, and took on the role of music director for Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party.[1]
