Yugoslav Olympic Committee

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Yugoslav Olympic Committee (originally Jugoslovenski olimpijski odbor, from 1927 Jugoslovenski olimpjski komitet) was the non-profit organization representing Yugoslavian athletes in the International Olympic Committee. The YOC organized Yugoslavia's representatives at the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. It was established in Zagreb in 1920, before moving to Belgrade in 1927.[1] With the dissolution of Yugoslavia, several successor committees were formed.
