Is the one of Bulgarians planing region. The capital is city of Burgas. Includes : Burgas Province, Sliven Province, Yambol Province and Stara Zagora Province.

1.195 mln. Mostly Bulgarians, Roma - big percentage in country. Density : 60/km² - lowest in country. Largest cities are Burgas - 200 000; Stara Zagora - 145 000, Sliven - 98 000; Yambol - 80 000, Kazanlak- 55 000.

Second richest Bulgarian region. Most iportant are tourism, electricity, services. Burgas is second larges Bulgarian's port, big touristics places are Sunny beach, Sozopol, Pomorie, Primorsko, Ravda and Kiten. Industrial centers are big cities and towns of Radnevo and Galabovo - electricity and mines.
