Yug River

Yug (Russian: Юг, lit. south) is a river in the European part of Russia, a tributary of the Northern Dvina. Its length is 574 kilometers (357 mi). Its source is near Nikolsk in Vologda Oblast. It flows roughly in northern direction. The Yug joins the river Sukhona near Veliky Ustyug, thus forming the Northern Dvina.
