Talk:Yugoloths
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
From the talk page for yugoloth: Obviously we want to merge yugoloths with this page, in accordance with our usage elsewhere. I guess we should also take an NPOV on issues like the relationship of General to Oinoloth, instead of just giving my correct view. I like the division into lesser, greater and unique yugoloth sections. I'd add another section for later additions like battleloths. Suggestions? Attacks? Dan 00:22, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I've started patching together a single page at yugoloths that I plan to move here (to yugoloth) in accordance with page naming conventions. Dan 20:18, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- I agree; both articles are not needed. Yugoloth was created in 2004, and I'd say that the editor who wrote Yugoloths a few months ago probably did not know the first one existed. Regardless, the singular spelling is probably preferrable, and was around first anyway, so I'd say merging Yugoloths into Yugoloth would be a good idea. When doing so, take care, as both pages are fairly long, and you don't want to lose any important information from either in the process. BOZ
- I agree with the merge per BOZ.--Robbstrd 23:01, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
I added the bare bones of the Yugoloths page a while back, because the earlier version was rambling on about Nycaloth Princes being the rulers of the 'loths and some other wierdness they seem to have just made up. At the time I wasn't aware of there being a page for the 'loths under the singular, rather than the plural, and I haven't found the time yet to go back and add anything more. I apologize for the rather stream of consciousness way it might have originally been jotted down in. The current version so far compiled on the Yugoloths page is taking shape nicely, and I agree that once finished it should be merged with the other page and replace what's currently there.
