Yuet Wai Kan

Yuet Wai Kan (簡悅威) (b. 1936) is Hong Kong-born American physician best known for his work in sickle cell and thalassemia genetics. He was awarded the Albert Lasker Award for Clinical Medical Research in 2001 and Shaw Prize in Life Science and Medicine in 2004.
