Ytrehovdeholmen Island

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ytrehovdeholmen Island (69°13′S, 39°28′E) is the largest of four islands in a cluster. It lies 4 miles (6 km) west of Langhovde Hills in the east part of Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and named Ytrehovdeholmen (the outer knoll island) because of its position among the islands adjacent to Langhovde Hills.
