[edit] AfD Nomination: Special triangle ratio
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Special triangle ratio meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

[edit] Why I nominated it
I am the editor who nominated your article Special triangle ratio for deletion. The reason I gave was:
- This is an interesting try, and it kept me happy for an hour checking it out, but I'm afraid it it's rather something made up one day (the few Google hits are not about this), and the conclusion is wrong. There is an infinite number of such triangles, for any value of φ from 1 to the Golden ratio (1 + √5 ) / 2 = 1.618 approx.; and they are not particularly special or interesting: not worth an article.
To give another example, the right-angled triangle with base 1 and hypotenuse (1 + √5 ) / 2 is a "special triangle" in your sense.
You will find a link on the article page which will take you to the deletion debate. What happens now is that for five days any editor who wants can comment, and say "delete" or "keep", and at the end of that time an administrator will make a decision based on the consensus of view.
