[edit] Little context in K.S. Makhan

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on K.S. Makhan, by Elkman, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because K.S. Makhan is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting K.S. Makhan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate K.S. Makhan itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 03:09, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Balwant Ramoowalia, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Please note that Wikipedia is not a repository for individuals' curricula vitae; instead, it is designed for prose articles about them. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 04:16, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Harbhajan Mann. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 04:21, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ypdtv

The article you created at Ypdtv was listed for deletion as Blatant advertising, criterion 11 in the criteria for speedy deletion, General section. Since it appears to be about you I've moved it to your user space instead, which was probably what you intended in the first place (a common mistake among newcomers!).

If you really did mean to create an article about yourself please be aware that this is often considered a bad idea, even if you do meet the guidelines for inclusion of biographies.

I know Wikipedia can be confusing for new editors, so you are welcome to ask for help at the help desk or on my talk page. —C.Fred (talk) 04:30, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
