Youth Specialties was founded in 1969 by Mike Yaconelli and Wayne Rice. It is an organization that supports Christian youth workers of many denominations. They serve over 100,000 youth workers worldwide through their training seminars, conventions, and many other recourses that they provide through their website.

The head office is in El Cajon, California, an eastern suburb of San Diego
