Youth Pride Chorus is a joint program of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus and New York's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center and is one of the first programs of its kind in the country. YPC is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied youth ages 13-21. Under the direction of Wes Webb and accompanied by Jonnah Speidel, YPC performs two formal concerts per season and is frequently asked to appear as guest artists at other programs and benefits. The group has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Time Warner Center, New World Stages, and at City Hall for the New York City Council Speaker's annual Pride Celebration.
