YouthNoise is an international organization with members from all corners of the globe.

Each month, YouthNoise has a "Just One Click" campaign to raise money for member recommended charities. Past benefactors include Covenant House, Heifer Project International, UNICEF, Common Threads and Huckleberry Youth Programs.

[edit] 2006 Site Redesign

Youth Noise, often referred to simply as "YN", with its members called "YNers" or "NMers", underwent a redesign in the spring of 2006. The new site was launched on June 3, 2006.

In the new site redesign, the new features were:

  • Showcase - an area of the site where YNers can share their art, poetry, projects, and soon even short films and music videos.
  • Debate - As the name says it, this area of the site features the debates between YNers about various issues.
  • Channels - The channels are divided by causes (for example, education or the environment), and each channel features its own articles.
  • Awards - a page with a listing for scholarships, recognition awards, and project support awards.
  • Calendar - Lists current events around the globe involving various issues.

The website is a non profit organization.
