Yoush

Yoush is a village in the Alborz Mountains, in Noor County, Mazandaran Province, northern Iran. It is well-known because of being the birthplace of Nima Yooshij, an influential contemporary poet and the father of the new-era poem in Iran.
On Friday 28 May 2004 at 17:08 local time (12:38 UTC), it was at the epicentre of the Mazandaran-Qazvin earthquake, which measured 5.5 on the Richter scale.[1]
