Youri Mulder

Youri Mulder (born March 23, 1969 in Brussels, Belgium) is a Dutch former football (soccer) player in striker role, currently a sport commentator for NOS TV.
Son of former Ajax Amsterdam and Anderlecht player Jan Mulder, he played in the Netherlands for Bussum and the Ajax youth teams and started his professional career for FC Twente. He played also in the German Bundesliga with FC Schalke 04, and won the UEFA Cup in 1997 and two German Cups in 2001 and 2002.
Mulder played nine matches for the Dutch national football team, and in these matches he found the net three times. He made his international debut on November 16, 1994 and participated at Euro 1996. Mulder retired from playing football in 2002.
