Youree Drive Middle School is a neighborhood school with a nationally recognized commitment to excellence. This commitment is evidenced every day in an educational environment that has fostered a love for learning since 1959.

Youree Drive Middle School has an Advanced Placement Magnet Program which includes a rigorous and challenging curriculum in math and science. The AP Magnet Program offers high-achieving students an opportunity to be involved in Advanced Placement classes with highly qualified teachers, advanced labs, field trips, and extensive hands-on experiences. This program is designed for students in the YDMS district who qualify for Advanced Placement classes.

Youree Drive Middle School is located in Shreveport, Louisiana and is part of the Caddo Public Schools (Louisiana).
