The long awaited follow up album to Ehron VonAllen ’s enigmatic “Incarnation” , “Your Only Friend” reveals a mountain of growth in songwriting, production and vocal technique. This CD takes on a whole new life of it’s own while still maintaining Ehron’s unique style and blend of gloomy synth music, hip hop beats and rock arranged songs.
From industrial anthems like “Shattered” and "Judas” to would be classic hits like “Egyptology” and “Love Is Strange” , this album never grows weary or lacks in creativity and depth.
It is a collection of great lyrics, great sound and above all, an album that is timeless.
Ehron VonAllen plays haunting synth textures, his synth timbres slice through the gloom, his intricate loops are infectious, and he sings most of the mournful leads.
The music is deep, intense, and ingeniously constructed. Vonallen has successfully amalgamated the styles of his influences - Depeche Mode , David Bowie , Recoil , Enigma , and Front 242 - and delivers heart-rending material.
