Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) was initially created from an October 2007 merger between Grand River Credit Union, Your Neighbourhood Credit Union.[1] In March 2008 YNCU grew larger as a result of a merger with Mitchell & District Credit Union.[2]

YNCU currently consists of 24,000 Members, thirteen branches in southern Ontario located in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, Paris, Windsor, LaSalle, Sebringville, Stratford, Mitchell and Shakespeare and over $390 million in assets [3][4]
